Your role:
As a volunteer, you'll be an essential part of creating a fun day for everyone, including yourself. You will be participating in 🌱setting up, decorating the garden, helping with preparing dinner and setting up fun activities while engaging with the community and connecting with nature in the middle of the city!
Beginner Level – No experience? No problem! You'll receive guidance from professionals, so no experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Check this out before signing up.
Slots:
1) Children’s Harvest Festival: Wednesday (September 17th) at Wilgenplantsoen/Bloklandstraat (Google Maps).
Morning crew: 11:00 to 14:00 - moving haybales, building tents
(shift full!) Afternoon crew: 14:00 to 19:00 - helping out with activities, serving drinks, helping the cooks (free dinner included)
Evening crew: 19:00 to 21:00 - cleaning, doing dishes (free dinner included)
2) Sunday Harvest Festival: Sunday (September 21st) at 131 Gordelweg, 3038 GB - Noord Vredestuin (Google Maps).
Morning crew: 12:00 to 15:00 - moving haybales, setting up activities
(shift full!) Afternoon crew: 15:00 to 19:00 - helping out with activities, serving drinks, and helping the cooks (free dinner included)
Evening crew: 19:00 to 21:00 - cleaning, doing dishes (free dinner included)
These times are guidelines, if you can show up before or after the given time, you are welcome to do so (let us know in the comments of the sign up form!)

“The Harvest Festivals are coming up! On Wednesday the 17th (kids edition) and Sunday the 21st of September, we will transform the gardens into a true paradise of coziness, workshops, dancing, communal meals, and so much more.
Why? Because we are grateful for all the beautiful harvest of this season, all the wonderful collaborations with various neighborhood partners and organizations, and because we want to throw a fantastic neighborhood party in gratitude for all the people from the neighborhood, volunteers who year in and year out maintain the gardens, and for all our new contacts and partners.
